08 was a pretty productive year hear at dharma. The processing marketing and sales end of the buisness is finally fairly stable and efficient so more energy and resources could be devoted to the farm itself. Hopefuly in the next 1-2 years we can get the farming end as organized as the buisness end.

We recleared 5-10 acres at the paperbark farm which had become overgrown and have planted an acre of avocados so far. The rest is just growing weeds again but at least its mowable now.

Dharma Farms has recieved some long needed attention as well. Fields that haven't been cleared since I did them years ago are producing noni again. And I think we will come through the winter with much less fungal damage this year.

We also planted an acre or so of kukui nut trees for oil production. Kukui Nut oil is a traditional Hawaiian, "Lomi Lomi" massage oil and is an expensive additive in many natual bath products.
